Disciples

Not for nought does one believe that he is truly the righteous one. Did our fair Lord Mindhorn become our master before or after he was blessed by his minions? Only he will know the answer.

However, it takes many other offerings from others, selflessly offering their gratitude, thanking me for my part in their humble downtrodden lives, for me to anoint myself with such status. A belief that to gain superiority from ones peers is for one to believe that fulfillment is garnered from shallow victories and grandiose gesturing.

It is here that you will find factual evidence that correlates succinctly with these views and it is these perfectly formed historic snapshots which give concrete evidence that the self imposed personal quest for glory is sailing strongly, with a steady gust of wind in the sails and a merry cheer in the heart.

Thank you kindly,

Adam Peter James Crosland.

" When I think of a Crosland original, it takes me back to something my brother once said to me: "if you ever go out drinking, knowing you're already feeling horny and worried about you're going to end up in a bad situation... have a wank first". This is how I see Adam's work, as forced and often confused masturbation. "

" He showed me his and I showed him mine - a perfect trade. Adam taught me shabby chic, 2x2 and a handful of rusty nails, job done, genius! I love my Crosland portrait, a perfect portrayal of my alter ego :-)

" I love the satirical aspect in Adam's work and how it feels completely original. It doesn't remind me of anyone else and I know that i'm looking at an original Crosland when I see one"

"Wonderfully wierd but perfectly suiting for my growing art collection and my house. I chose this piece because they had welcoming faces and the one with the green shirt stole my heart"

Testimonials

"Adam Crosland, at first sight, seems to be just another artist trying to starve to death whilst trying to pursue a passion that is defining his struggle to exist and communicate that which he wants us all to hear him say. But he, whilst being these, is something more as well. He has for instance that spark of vital questioning through his chosen medium that forces us to want to get to know what it is, exactly, that he believes and feels so strongly about. How he perceives the `seeming` reality of his world, in his time, at his age. No bland pretentious self focused meandering here at all then, just a raw, fiercely robust, hard, look into the very soul of his subject. He is, in spite of these intensities, a charming and delightful person to talk to. Definitely a young man to watch I will say. Don't take my word for this however. Find him and decide for yourself. It will be well worth your effort I assure you of it."
